General Usage
The application window is divided in three panels: the Info and Tools panel to the left, the main map panel with a button bar on top in the
middle and the Attribute Data panel to the right. According to your interaction with the application the left and right panels may be visible or not
at a specific moment.
Working with Layers

The legend of any visible layer is shown in the legend tab.
If you click on a layer's name, this layer becomes the active layer.
Use the
button in the main panel's button bar to get information on any object on the map.
Information may be visible when
moving the mouse over the object and/or shown in the Attribute Data panel when clicking on the object. By choosing an option from Object identification
you can decide which layer(s) are queried.

All buttons have tooltips that display when moving the mouse over the button.

or by inserting a specific scale in the scale box in the bottom right corner.
If you have a wheel mouse you can zoom in and out by rolling the wheel, too.

Measuring Distances and Areas
Use the

A left click sets a point in the line or area to measure, a double click ends the measurement. The measuring result is continuously published below the map.
Printing
If print layouts have been defined by the webmaster of the site they are offered for use when clicking on the
button. The frame shown on the map highlights the area contained in the
print. You may pan, scale or pivot the frame to make it fit your needs.
